          On March 13, 2007, the Board of Directors of Oil-Dri Corporation of America (the “Registrant”) declared regular quarterly cash dividends of $0.12 per share of the Registrant’s Common Stock and $0.09 per share of the Registrant’s Class B Stock.  The dividends will be payable on June 1, 2007, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 4, 2007.  A copy of the Registrant’s press release announcing these matters is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and the information contained therein is incorporated herein by reference.

Oil-Dri Board of Directors Declares Dividends

 

CHICAGO – March 14, 2007 – The Board of Directors of Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC) yesterday declared quarterly cash dividends of $0.12 per share for the Common Stock and $0.09 per share of the Class B Stock.

 

The dividends will be payable on June 1, 2007, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 4, 2007. The Company has paid cash dividends continuously since 1974.
